WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You are responsible for managing all aspects of our US hubs in Denver and Turlock to ensure that objectives are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets and that all activities are conducted in accordance with required standards and regulations.

  • Operational excellence: you make sure the US team executes on the long term purposes. You define KPI’s and monitor them closely, with a particular focus on:
    • 24/7 service: you make sure that our 24/7 remote service system is on point. Together with our service manager you ensure service performance metrics are implemented and monitored and opportunities for service enhancements are identified.
    • Issue resolution: you ensure service level agreements are maintained and in case of high priority issues or more complex issues you step in to get it solved.
    • Project management: you carry the end responsibility of the right outcome of all US projects and therefor keep close contact with the service manager who takes care of all the projects and is in charge of scheduling our technicians for these projects.
  • Financial performance: you monitor revenue, expenses and profitability in order to realize the budget. You keep management up-to-date by reporting, and identify opportunities to improve our profitability. You’ll also be liable for the financial approval responsibility. This means you’ll be the contact person for the banks
  • People management: You’re responsible for training and developing the right talent. You inspire and motivate your team to perform at the highest level, and are a bridge builder between the US team and the teams in our other locations.
  • Strategic Planning: you contribute to the company strategy at the regional level
  • Sales: you identify market opportunities and create plans to capitalize on them. You develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
  • You will have a seat in our management team and report directly to the CSO and CEO

 

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • That you have 3 – 5 years of experience in sales (preferably in machinery or another technical environment) as well as experience in steering and strategically further develop a department/hub/plant and all that comes with that (people management, budget management,…). Experience in a field service environment is an asset.
  • That you have a flexible mindset regarding working hours due to customer service as well as timezone difference with Europe
  • That you are willing to travel to Europe 2 – 3 times a year
  • That you thrive in a dynamic work environment with short communication lines
  • That you participate in a culture of self-management and open feedback
  • That you display strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, that you have a deep understanding of customer needs and how to deliver them exceptional service as well as boost our sales
